Terms of service
These terms govern your use of aombe.com and any order you place with Aombe Atelier ("Aombe", "we", "us"). By placing an order, you accept these terms.
1. Made-to-order production
All Aombe garments are manufactured after an order is confirmed. We do not hold finished stock. Production begins promptly after payment clears, which is why cancellation is limited to the window set out in our Return and Refund Policy.
2. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we confirm your order and payment has cleared. We reserve the right to decline an order, in which case any payment made is refunded in full. Reasons may include suspected fraudulent payment, an inability to deliver to your address, or a pricing error.
3. Payment
Full payment is required at checkout. We do not offer partial payment, deposits, payment on delivery, or credit terms. Orders do not enter production until payment has cleared.
4. Pricing
All prices are in Kenyan Shillings (KSh) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.
We may change prices at any time. The price displayed at the moment you complete checkout is the price that applies to your order, and later price changes do not affect confirmed orders.
5. Sizing
Our Size Guide sets out measurements for each size. You are responsible for selecting your size. We offer free sizing advice on WhatsApp before you order.
Where a garment matches its published measurements, it is considered correctly made regardless of personal fit preference.
6. Product variation
Every piece is individually cut and sewn. Minor variation in measurement, colour, and finish between individual garments and between production runs is inherent to this method and is not a defect.
Colours shown on screen may differ from the finished garment due to screen and lighting differences.
7. Timelines
Production and delivery timelines are estimates given in good faith. They are not contractual guarantees, and delays outside our reasonable control do not entitle you to cancel a confirmed order or claim compensation.
8. Care
Care instructions are provided with each garment. Damage resulting from care contrary to these instructions is not covered by our exchange terms.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including designs, patterns, photography, text, and the Aombe name and marks — is the property of Aombe Atelier. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use it commercially without our written permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Kenyan consumer protection law.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published at the time you place an order is the version that applies to it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
